Victorian 1890-1910 Floral Monogrammed Locket and Fob.
In Australia where I worked at the Museum we had many beautiful things like this. It was quite an experience to hold them in one's hand and admire their beauty and wonder who owned them or where they had been since they were created. What a story they could tell.....
This would have had of course .. a gold chain to hang around the ladies neck... with a photo of their loved one inside.
