Do you remember these old sewing machines.... my mum had one. I used to love watching the treadle go back and forth. They worked great... and I think some of them would still be working fine today. Click on the image to see it full size and save your wallpaper from there... Hope you like it.

Pretty teapot... I love teapots... My obsession with them seems to have come only over the past 5 years or so. When I came to Canada to marry my Brian his mum had died .. and she had a couple of very pretty teapots which I "inherited".
There is nothing nicer than putting tea in a pot and sharing it with a friend or even oneself. Taking the time to really sit back and sip the refreshing brew. In a pretty teacup of course.....

Found a new book at our library yesterday .. and I'm already half way through it. By my favourite author... Anne Perry.
I had read all the books she had written and this one is the latest so it was a pleasant surprise to find it on the shelves. "Buckingham Palace Gardens" is
of course set in Victorian London ... and there's been a
murder committed at the Palace. The Prince of Wales
somehow I think is involved seeing that a lot of speculation
surrounded Jack the Ripper back in 1888 ....
Many people still think it had a royal involvement
and that royalty could have indeed been the Ripper.

It's quite a story and one of her best I think although all of them are wonderful.
